Prof. Dr. Hab. Tadeusz Antoni Jezierski
Retired Head of the Department of Animal Behavior at the Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Jastrzębiec near Warsaw. Author of several hundred publications. Leader of many research projects, including Ethological analysis of errors made during the identification of individuals based on scent traces by police special dogs; Training special dogs to detect scent markers of cancerous diseases; Improving various forms of olfactory detection in police special dogs using behavioral and molecular methods, as well as two educational EU grants related to animal welfare. Awarded the Gold Cross of Merit by the President of Poland in 2005.

Educator, worked as an inspector for didactics at the Gdańsk Zoo. For nearly 15 years, a guide for rescue dogs in OSP GPR in Gdańsk. Dog trainer, conducts classes in NOSEWORK.
