DOG TRAINING
MODERN
Dual-purpose dogs are dogs trained solely for scent work and for other tasks, such as defense.
The dogs we train can cope perfectly with the difficulties and challenges of various olfactory specialties.
Thanks to the comprehensive development of the trained dogs' sense of smell, they are ideally suited to perform tasks in several specialties. The type and method of work are individually determined with each team, considering their capabilities, predispositions, and the type of tasks to be performed.
DETECTION
A properly trained working dog (K9) for use in scent application on all fours.
We train dogs to detect the following:
• corpses, drowned persons, and biological remains,
• drugs - we work with several scents: heroin, cocaine, marijuana, LSD,
• explosives - we can usually detect 5 odorants: TNT, C4, dynamite, Semtex, Rdx,
• We also accept custom orders depending on the application.
We use dogs in a variety of applications: in vehicles, on cars, at trunks, and on openings. We collaborate with law enforcement agencies, shopping malls, and airports.
This ensures we can access each of them.
Depending on the conditions in which they will operate, we select the appropriate type of containers, for example, a suitable passive position (sit, down, or stand),
and nose specifications in the markings. Informing dogs remotely should also be done by moving triggers or activating a special alarm system.
Scent detection dogs can be of any breed. The choice of breed and individual dogs depends on the type and location of the work, from herding dogs to hunting dogs.
TRACKING
Tracking detection dogs are training dogs that follow scent trails located near access points.
Following a trail over short distances, as well as several kilometers, is possible by determining the target location in a given environment. Tracking is based on a specific canine instinct. This learning begins at birth – a tight attachment to the mother's nipple, which is hereditary. The solution is that dogs are born blind, with a sense of smell accessible, and then they move on to the next one.
Tracking greatly develops a dog's olfactory system, which is why we recommend ten types of work as starting points in other control units.
We train tracking dogs independently in the field (we have a training center in the Tuchola Forest) and in cities on hard terrain.
SEARCH
We train search and rescue dogs that target two people:
• scent-discriminating dogs (mantrailing), which signal only a specific person's scent,
• non-discriminating dogs – which signal or follow a specific scent of a specific type, e.g.,
any human scent,
In the case of prior notification of a search. Often, they only selectively track a portion of the scent in the air. The source of the scent can deviate from the actual substance that is associated with the searched object. They work on a leash.
In the second case, dogs spread the human scent floating in the air to find its source. They do so off-leash. They locate the scent of people, or they can be alone. After locating the signal, they are assigned to a special handler. The search area is a large area of water.
We train dogs independently in the field (we have a center in the Tuchola Forest) as well as in the city on hard terrain.
We conduct specialized scent training:
detection of odors, tracking, searches.
Training is available in individual sessions or in small groups (2-4 dogs).
We conduct dog training in basic obedience, solve problems, and correct inappropriate behaviors.
Training is available in individual sessions or in small groups (2-4 dogs).
